Tottenham Hotspur shouldn’t sign a fallen monster striker, warns the club.
Harry Kane, Son Heung-min’s soul mate and soul partner at Tottenham Hotspur, has left for Bayern Munich.
Kane decided that a move to Bayern Munich was the answer to fulfill his title ambitions.
Tottenham offered him a huge weekly wage to keep him, along with a plan to take over his post-retirement life as a coach and ambassador.
However, Kane remained stubborn in his desire to leave and Tottenham reportedly decided to take a cut of the transfer fee.
Bayern Munich and Tottenham were unable to agree on a transfer fee, but once they did, the transfer accelerated.
Bayern Munich offered more than 100 million euros ($145.8 million) for Kane, and the deal was finalized when Tottenham accepted the offer.
Kane got off to a flying start in the German Bundesliga, opening the scoring in his debut.
Tottenham will need to fill the huge attacking void left by parting ways with Kane. While they do have the likes of Eric Bailly, he’s been underwhelming.
One option is to use Son Heung-min as a frontline striker, but they need to sign a legitimate striker.
Tottenham are looking for a striker and have been linked with fallen monster Romelu Lukaku.
“Tottenham will target Romelu Lukaku if Kane leaves,” according to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Lukaku moved to Chelsea in August 2021 after putting in monster performances for Inter Milan. It was a reunion after seven years. The club spent €150 billion, the most in their history.
However, Lukaku’s return to Chelsea was a flop. Beyond his early flashes, the big striker’s fall from grace was evident as he failed to show any flashes of brilliance.
A string of sub-par performances after that failed to turn things around, and he left Chelsea and reunited with Inter Milan on loan.
Lukaku was supposed to return to Chelsea when his contract expired, but he is out of options and wants a move away.
Chelsea are also keen to part ways with Lukaku and are actively looking for a buyer.
However, it has been argued that Tottenham should not be in the running for Lukaku.
Frank McAvennie, a former West Ham United, Aston Villa, and Scotland international, spoke to Football Insider.
“A move for Lukaku would be a bad move for Tottenham,” McAvenney said.
“Tottenham fans won’t be able to watch him warm up before the game,” he said, adding that Lukaku would be an unwelcome addition. 소닉카지노
“Lukaku hasn’t achieved anything on the European stage. I hope he proves me wrong, but he’s already past his prime. When he returned to Chelsea, he wasn’t the same player he was at Inter Milan,” he said.
