Hiroki Ito (24, Japan) has signed a contract extension with German side Stuttgart.

“We are pleased to announce that Hiroki Ito has signed a new contract with Stuttgart. We are pleased to announce this news.” The contract runs until June 2027. Ito, who joined the Bundesliga club from J-League Jubilo Iwata in the summer of 2021, will extend his career in Germany.

“I am very happy to re-sign with Stuttgart,” said Ito. Thanks to the club, my agent, and my family, I was able to re-sign, and I’m especially grateful to the Stuttgart home fans for their support at every home game. I feel at home in Stuttgart,” he said.

“I came to the German top flight (Bundesliga) from the Japanese J2 League in 2021, and I didn’t expect to play as many games as I have now. I didn’t expect to be selected for the Japanese national team. I’ve grown a lot here. I will continue to give 100 percent for Stuttgart.”

A left-footed flanker, Ito has seen his value skyrocket since joining Stuttgart. He had never been capped by the Japanese national team before, but a year after joining Stuttgart, he was named to the squad for the first time. He also played at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He played in three of Japan’s four A matches in the first half of the year.

He is also a regular starter for Stuttgart. He has made 29 and 30 league appearances in the last two seasons, respectively. This season, he started the opening match and assisted the team’s first goal 바카라. Stuttgart started the season at the top of the Bundesliga table with a convincing 5-0 win over Bochum in the first round.

Stuttgart is the first team to have two Japanese players on its roster since last season. The other is Wataru Endo (30-Liverpool). Endo’s skills and leadership were such that he was named captain of Stuttgart. However, he left for Liverpool in the English Premier League (EPL) just before the start of the new season.

Next to Ito is another Asian player, Jung Woo-young (23). Jung joined Stuttgart from Freiburg in the summer transfer window. He was given the number 10 shirt, the symbol of the ace. He played the full 90 minutes in the recent opening match. He had four shots on goal on the day, all of which were saved by the goalkeeper and physical defense.

Stuttgart, the reigning Bundesliga champions, have reorganized from a one-one-one duo system to a one-one-one duo system.
